How are decimals written?

Digits after the point are read individually. For example, 0.05 becomes “Zero point zero five”.

Can I use lakh and crore?

Yes. Select South Asian numbering in Wording settings to group figures and words in lakh and crore style.

Are large values rounded?

No. The tool parses up to 30 integer digits and 12 decimal digits as exact text. Sinhala wording currently stops at 999,999,999 with a clear error.

Is this an exchange-rate converter?

No. Choosing a currency changes its name and minor-unit rules. It never converts the entered value to another currency.

How do I use it offline?

Open this page online once and wait for “Core ready offline.” Use the install option in your browser to add it to your device. Save the optional pack before going offline if you need PDF or XLSX exports.

Where is my history stored?

History is off until you enable it. Individual conversions are saved only when you press Save, on this browser profile. Open Privacy, preferences and history to export or clear them.

How can I learn place values?

Open Explore to compare international and South Asian grouping, select a digit, see its contribution, and try a short exercise.
